BrightClaim recently commissioned a survey that looked at independent adjuster usage among carriers. According to the findings, nearly 90 percent of respondents have used independent adjusters for property claims, and 44 percent used outside adjusters specifically for task work. But how do you know if your strategy best serves your customers?

[marker] Before you hire an independent adjuster, set up specific expectations for what you hope to accomplish and clearly define what tasks you’d like them to perform. Afterwards, quickly give them feedback about their performance so they can make adjustments and provide the highest quality work in the future.
